We are in the season of Lent

Worship in the Parish

Dear Trinity,

Once a year, our church practices remembering that we're NOT the only church out there! We call it Worship in the Parish.

In our Diocese, we have a passion for mission in an Anglican context. But for us, it’s not about being Anglican. It’s about the Kingdom of God and His mission. Anglicanism is our context, but if we look in our valley, there are many good contexts in which people are worshipping the one true God.

On August 3rd there will be no service at Trinity. We invite you to find another church to visit and see how God is moving there. The following Sunday, we’ll share with each other about what we experienced!

Godly Play Foundations Training

September 13

You're Invited!

We are bringing in Godly Play Foundation trainer, Emily Griffin, on Sept. 13th for a day training.  She will give an overview of what Godly Play is, the spirituality of children, how to tell a story, how to support the circle of children, and the various kinds of stories that exist in Godly Play.

Our diocese has approved a grant to cover the cost, so this training will be free to participants from our congregation.  We would like to invite anyone interested in learning more about Godly Play to join us.

Reach out to Kelsee with any questions - Kelsee@trinitywenatchee.org.

More Help Needed

I need a few more parents to sign up to help me with Godly Play downstairs this summer.  You'll simply support the kids in listening to the story, lead them in a prayer time, and guide them back to their parents in the sanctuary.

The Godly Play Song

We've been having a great time with the kids these past two weeks.  We are learning about the Lord as our Good Shepherd, and one of the ways we've explored this is with a song about Psalm 23.  Here's the link so that your children can practice at home: Psalm 23
Becca and Ryan Niemeyer welcomed a precious daughter, Mei Niemeyer, on July 20th. Children are a gift from the Lord and we celebrate Mei's safe arrival along with her three siblings and parents.

Bulletin Board

Our bulletin board is a place where you can express a need to our church body (ex: housing, items needed, jobs wanted, etc.) so that others can reach out and respond.  Have a submission? Please email hello@trinitywenatchee.org for us to review.

  • Dearest Friends of Jill Gentry: As we navigate the loss of our incredible friend, let’s come close to one another and share our tears, our memories, and our sorrow. Gather with us Monday night at 7:30 at Anni’s house (524 Okanogan Avenue). Bring a snack or drink to share if you like. Because of the intimate nature of our grief, this circle is open to women who knew and loved Jill. We don’t intend to be exclusive, but in times of great sorrow, we women often find shelter in the company of our sisters.
