Dear Trinity,
This Spring, we have much to look forward to! Check out the poster below, and then scroll further for details about each event.
p.s. - this Sunday! Rwanda Pilgrimage Sharing. Come hear about Sarah holding a Rwandan goat and more stories of what three people from our church learned on Pilgrimage.
And don’t miss “Body Boundaries” this Saturday from 7-9pm at the church with Natalie Eggers (MS, LMFT).

Cup Overflowing: The Spirituality of Wine
April 7 (RSVP Here)
Come hear from Matt and Julie's friend, Dr. Gisela Kreglinger, on wine's place in faith, feasting and fellowship. Wine is a precious gift from God - in fact it is the most talked about food of the Bible and yet the church in North American has had a very ambivalent relationship with wine and alcohol more widely speaking. Our hope is that in talking about it together we can both rediscover this amazing gift and also learn how to develop a better relationship with it. This event will include a time of Q&A with Gisela, as well as wine and cheese to follow.
Jon Guerra & Carson Leith Concert
April 12 (Get Tickets)
Come celebrate the release of Carson's new record, "Small Boy Running.” Carson will play his album in full, followed by Jon Guerra who has a new record as well.
Listen to Jon’s new song, “I See the Birds”
Listen to Carson’s new song, “My Own Name”
Newcomers Dinner
April 27 (RSVP)
Come enjoy dinner together with a pastor and other newcomers. We will get to hear the story of how Trinity came to be and have time to hear a bit from every one about the journey that brought you to Trinity.
Trinity 101
May 2
Are you newer at Trinity and wondering about our unique DNA, our Anglican tradition, and our practices as a church? Come to Trinity 101 where we will explore the pieces that make Trinity...Trinity. And expect to have fun doing it!
You’ll discover answers to questions like,
- Why do we make being “face to face” and “in Christ” such a big deal?
- How do liturgy and the church calendar help us practice the gospel?
- What does it mean to be God’s child and a part of the priesthood of all believers?
- How might I fit in here?
We’ll be leaning into these topics and so much more! Join us as you discover your place in this local expression of God’s church on the corner of Peachy and Okanogan.
Pilgrimage to Leavenworth
May 17-18
Join Pastor Matt in Trinity’s annual local pilgrimage from the church to the Icicle River. The 31-mile route follows backroads up the Wenatchee Valley. Camp Saturday night by the Wenatchee River at the Turner household. Shorter 3-8 mile options each day are offered. Pilgrimage will conclude with a church potluck at the Pick household at 5pm on Sunday with a church service to follow at 6pm.
Confirmation
June 1
All are welcome to come witness, worship and pray at the confirmation service on June 1, which will be led by Bishop Ken. At this service, the confirmands will renew their baptismal vows and ask for a fresh empowerment of the Holy Spirit to rest as God’s beloved child in Christ and to be equipped for ministry. Interested in being confirmed? Reach out to Pastor Matt at 206-953-4129. There will be a 4-week cohort leading up to the confirmation service (Wednesdays in May).
Pastor Matt’s Face-to-Face Training Tips
Pastor Matt has recorded five short audio trainings for our small groups that help explain how to posture ourselves as we come face to face with one another. We wanted make these available not just to those in small groups, but to everyone in our church so that we can all be growing together. Here’s the first one!
