Dear Trinity,
Did you know that Advent is not a time of celebration (like Christmas), but a time of expectation? It is a time of waiting for our coming King to come to us as He promised He would.
Here are some ways to wait face-to-face with God, our neighbors, and ourselves in this time.
Pick up a Prayer Booklet
Pick up your new advent prayer booklet this week at church. Find a quiet spot to read or speak the prayer liturgy which helps us remember who God is and who we are as His beloved kids. We’re then invited into God’s Story (Revised Common Lectionary readings), and sent out into the world to participate with Him in reconciling all things to Himself.
Advent Prayer Nights: December 4, 11, 18
Come together in community to be formed by Christ as we wait for Him by praying through the Advent liturgy (three Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm).
Wenatchee Rescue Mission
Throughout Advent let’s remember our neighbors who, like us, are searching, waiting and longing for reconciliation in their personal lives and in the world.
Dec 1: Youth (and adults) Decorate WRM for Christmas
Dec 8 or 15: Bring an offering for Wenatchee Rescue Mission
Dec 23: Christmas Visit & Celebration at WRM
Listening Team
While Advent can be a time of joyful anticipation, we also know it can be difficult and lonely. We’ve been developing and training a Listening Team to visit, listen, and pray with you in whatever place you find yourself. Would you like a visit during this season? Email care@trinitywenatchee.org

Lessons and Carols
We are looking for men and women (teenage+) to sing in December. This year, rehearsals will be Dec. 1, 8, & 15 (Sundays) after the second service. On Sunday 12/22, the choir will lead music for both services and finally on 12/24 at 11pm the choir will lead the Lessons & Carols Christmas eve service.
